Matthew Goldstein and Edward McHugh have been practicing in the alcoholic beverage licensing field for over 50 years combined. Our paralegal, Michele, has been with the firm for more than 2 decades. We have seen, heard and handled almost every transactional situation in the hospitality industry – if we haven’t (and yes, we do get thrown a curveball occasionally), we can and will find the answers for you in a timely manner. As attorneys, we handle our PLCB interviews and transaction closings ourselves – we are also bound by ethical rules of conduct. If your matter is being handled primarily by non-attorney “consultants” or other law firm staff, you may want to consider us as another option.
At Goldstein & McHugh PC we ordinarily bill for our legal services on a “flat fee” basis (unless you request hourly billing). You will be explained what these fees will be before our representation begins. This way, you will not be discouraged from calling or contacting us by e-mail to discuss your matter because you would be billed per minute, for each call or e-mail.
All of our clients are provided our mobile phone numbers, so that we can be reached during and/or after hours to respond to your needs and answer any questions you may have.
